The PVDA Ride for LifeTM Committee proudly announces the Second Annual Ride for Life Gala Dinner Event. Widely acclaimed in 2007, the event will be even better for 2008! The theme this year is Las Vegas! Enter the gala dinner thorugh the Wedding Chapel and have Nicole Uphoff-Selke provide you with a personal signature.
The Gala Dinner Event will be held in conjunction with the Dancing Horse Challenge on Saturday, June 28th, in the banquet area of the Show Place Arena. Cocktails (cash bar) and appetizers will be available 6:00 to 9:30 PM and a buffet dinner with wine will be served 6:30 to 9:00 PM.
The Gala Dinner Event is open to everyone involved in the Ride for Life – sponsors, riders, grooms, volunteers, vendors, etc.
The dress is black tie optional. Any dress is acceptable
We are very pleased to announce that Nicole Uphoff, 1988 and 1992 Olympic individual Gold Medalist, will be the Gala Dinner Speaker!
Special entertainment will include personal interaction with "Elvis", Vegas gaming tables for fun and a band, The Unruly Blues, providing music after the Dancing Horse Challenge for all to enjoy and to dance the rest of the evening away.
The cost is $50 per person and the net proceeds will be donated to the Johns Hopkins Breast Cancer Center. As part of their benefits package, Platinum Sponsors will receive four tickets, Gold Sponsors will receive two tickets, and Silver Sponsors will receive two tickets.
