THE PVDA ANNOUNCES DETAILS OF LIBBY AND JULES ANDERSON’S PARTICIPATION IN THE DANCING HORSE CHALLENGE
PVDA today confirmed that retired International and National dressage judge and USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medalist Libby Anderson will be available for commentary and her daughter, talented FEI competitor and USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medalist Jules Anderson will be performing at the Dancing Horse Challenge Saturday June 28, 2008 at the Prince George’s Equestrian Center, Upper Marlboro, Maryland! The PVDA Ride for LifeTM Benefit Dressage Show June 28-29, 2008 is both a benefit for breast cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Center, and a two-day USDF-licensed dressage show with classes from Introductory Level to Grand Prix.
Jules will be riding a musical freestyle with her Grand Prix horse Nairobi and doing a fabulously entertaining costume FEI interpretation of the music from Terminator with her horse Vivaldi V at the Dancing Horse Challenge. We cannot wait and hope you will not miss the chance to see this performance and other entertaining musical FEI dressage freestyles and vaulting exhibitions, quadrille drill teams, Park Police demonstration, live music and more! Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday June 28th for the Dancing Horse Challenge and a $15 donation at the door is suggested.
Tickets to the Dancing Horse Challenge Gala Dinner, which features a lovely catered dinner, fabulous decorations, Las Vegas-style games and accoutrements, are available for $50 and the fabulous Silent Auction items will be on display, including a chance to win a $500 Dover Show Shopping Spree! The exciting Dancing Horse Challenge will be hosted by the Potomac Valley Dressage Association (PVDA) at its Fifth Ride for LifeTM Benefit Dressage Horse Show June 28-29, 2008, at the Prince George’s Equestrian Center, Upper Marlboro, Maryland! The PVDA Ride for LifeTM Dressage Show is both a benefit for breast cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Center, and a two-day USDF-licensed dressage show with classes from Introductory Level to Grand Prix.

Details were announced today for the 2008 Potomac Valley Dressage Association (PVDA) Ride for Life show to be held June 28-29, 2008 at the Prince George’s Equestrian Center, Upper Marlboro, MD. PVDA’s Ride for Life show has a special purpose; it is a benefit for breast cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Center, and a two-day USDF-licensed dressage show with classes from Introductory Level to Grand Prix. Whether you are a sponsor, a rider or non-rider bringing in donations; a clinician or company contributing to the silent auction or rider raffle; a vendor, a volunteer or other supporter; there is a way for you to contribute to the show in funds or time to help us support breast cancer research!
On Saturday June 28th, there will be a special evening performance perfect for both individuals and families in the spacious competition hall/indoor arena featuring live musical entertainment, dressage exhibitions by top professionals, a musical freestyle challenge between dressage and western reiners showcasing their partnership between horse and rider, and various entertaining exhibitions, including the World Equestrian Games Gold Medal vaulter. Doors open at six p.m. for the Dancing Horse Challenge and donations are suggested. Tickets for the gala dinner that evening are available and fabulous silent auction items will be on display.
