The Ride for Life weekend is almost here! Here’s a rundown of activities and events. We hope to see you there!

Rider BBQ

Friday June 24, 5-7pm. $25 per person. Debbie McDonald will give a talk called “Overcoming Adversity” from 6-7pm.

Silent Auction

Friday June 24-Saturday June 25. Bids open Friday after set-up and run until 9pm on Saturday. Items may be picked up 9:30-11pm. Cash or check payable to Johns Hopkins University.

Licensed Dressage Show

Saturday June 25 and Sunday June 26. Generally runs 8am-5pm.

Children’s Activities/Lunch Demos

Saturday June 25

  • 11am-4pm, horsey arts and crafts
  • Magic show at 3pm and 5pm
  • Lunch demo at 12pm, Ring 3: KYB Dressage

Sunday June 26

  • 11am-3pm, horsey arts and crafts
  • Lunch demo at 12:15, Bay Area Polocrosse Association
  • Lunch demo at 12pm, Ring 3: Quarter Horse Versatility

Autograph Signing

Saturday, June 25 on the concourse:

  • 10am – Debbie McDonald
  • 11am – Shannon Dueck
  • 1pm – KYB Dressage
  • 2pm – Debbie McDonald

Gala

Saturday June 25, $100 per person, black tie optional. Cocktails begin at 5pm and dinner starts at 8:30pm. Music and speakers 9-11:45pm.

Dancing Horse Challenge

Saturday June 25, 6-8:30pm. $20 donation. Join us afterwards for “Dancing in the Dirt” from 8:30-11:30pm. Everyone is welcome! Music will be piped into the arena and all are welcome to join in the ring to dance.
