Parisian Masquerade – Celebration of Life

 

Don’t miss the opportunity to join us the evening of June 27th, 2009 for the Ride for Life Gala dinner event.  This year you will join us for a Parisian Masquerade – A Celebration of Life.  You will enter the charm and beauty of one of Europe’s most intriguing cities while celebrating “Masquerade”. Dress for this affair is black tie optional but as always, we welcome whatever you may wear but we encourage you to join fully into the festivities by wearing your finest masks and costumes.  We will have prizes for best costume and best mask to be presented by our special guest, US Dressage Olympian, Debbie McDonald.  Debbie will be gracing us with a special talk and will be available through the evening.

 

VIP seating will be available for gala attendees to watch the Dancing Horse Challenge (DHC) with food and drinks available during the event.  After the DHC is finished, dinner will be served for the gala attendees and an excellent band, The Unruly Blues, will play and dancing is encouraged.  A cash bar will remain available from 6:00 when the show begins to 11:45 when the gala concludes.  Cost for this entire evening is $100 per person with half of that as a tax deductible portion.  All checks are made out to the PVDA and reservations must be in no later than June 19.

 

Please join us for this wonderful event and do not miss the opportunity to support the Johns Hopkins Breast Center.  All net proceeds from the gala and this total evening event will go toward this cause, furthering research, treatment, education and the hope of a cure for breast cancer.  Be part of something wonderful and very special.  As always, we appreciate your generous support.
