Riders - Take the Challenge!

Since 2004, the Potomac Valley Dressage Association has dedicated one of its four annual licensed Dressage Shows to raise funds in support of Breast Cancer Research. Through your continued support, PVDA has raised over $81,000 in funds for Johns Hopkins.  The 2007 show and benefit raised $45,000 for Johns Hopkins – a 50% increase over 2006!  Rider donations accounted for over $25,500 of the total donated in 2007.  Riders raised an additional $10,000 in support the show and benefit for a grand total of over $35,500!

PVDA challenges you to help increase Rider Donations* to $50,000.  Please help make a difference in someone's life.

How it Works:

Riders raise donations* in for the Quality of Life Research Fund while competing for High Pledge Ribbons and Overall High Pledge Awards. This year there are several new benefits for riders raising donations for JHBCC. Raise a minimum of $100.00 and you are eligible for a Special Rider Raffle.  Win lessons with top-level clinicians and sponsor-donated items and logoware.  Don’t have a horse to compete but still want support the Quality of Life Research Fund?  You can still participate and receive credit for donations raised. See details on the Phantom Horse Class.

Rider Donations consist of:  personal or business pledges; tributes; and silent auctions items. You also receive credit for rider raffle items; breed, high score & pledge award sponsorship; general sponsorship and advertising.

*Pledges, tributes and silent auction items benefit Johns Hopkins directly.  Rider raffle items, all sponsorship and advertising donations are used to offset the costs of the holding the benefit.
